Kentstown side move clear at top
MAGUIRES took full advantage of other teams’ inactivity last Friday to move clear at the top of Division 1 in the Fosters Duleek & District Dart League.
The Kentstown outfit, who remain unbeaten this season, were big winners over struggling Pheasant Bar in the only game played in that section of the league.
Foxs and Black & White Thatch are now joint leaders of Division 2 after they both won, with the latter edging out fellow challengers Valley Inn away from home.
In Division 3 it’s Railway Bar setting the pace and they’re now a point clear of Mariner B who were held to a draw by third-placed Maguires B.
This Friday the action resumes in the Premier Division where runaway leaders Greyhound will be expected to pick up full points away to joint bottom Sally Inn. The second and third-placed teams, Mariner and Carranstown, also face games against teams in the lower reaches of the table.
