“It is clear there is an urgent and ongoing need for our members and the wider business community to continue to prepare thoroughly for Brexit, with the UK due to leave the EU in the near future” said Shona Mc Manus, President of the Drogheda & District Chamber. Shona urged local businesses to avail of the various online Government information sources including the Revenue Commissioners and the https:// www.prepareforbrexit.com/ website.
“There will be ‘unknown unknowns’, but good preparation will help ensure our member businesses don’t suffer any critical impacts,” concluded Shona, who thanked Grant Thornton, Coca- Cola and AIB for supporting the event.
The next Drogheda Chamber diary date is a Speed Networking event on Thursday February 14th hosted by The Mill Enterprise Centre and sponsored by M1 Skillnet.
