MOYLAGH DRUMCONRATH 0-10 0-6

THE first half dismissal of Daniel Byrne proved an early turning point as Drumconrath lost their 100% record to previously unbeaten Moylagh.

Byrne had accounted for two points prior to his sending-off and with Pado Farrelly also on target Drumconrath led 0-3 to 0-2.

Moylagh finished the half strongly, though, and led 0-5 to 0-3 at the break.

Stephen Crosby narrowed the gap on the restart, but Moylagh strengthened their grip on proceedings to go five clear entering the closing stages.

Crosby added two further points to narrow the deficit, but Drumconrath were unable to manufacture the goal needed to save the match. Moylagh hit the insurance score in added time.

Crosby and Robbie McEntaggart had good displays for Drumconrath who lost Patrick Dunne to a nasty knee injury after just two minutes.
