DIVINE MERCY CONFERENCE.
A Great Day Out at the 2019 Divine Mercy Conference in the RDS, Ballsbridge on Saturday February 23rd. A coach will depart on Saturday February 23rd from Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 8.30am sharp (please note time). Coach return costs €15. RDS Conference admission is €30. If you wish to go, you must book with Jimmy Kirwan on 0862557528 before Wednesday February 20th.
TERMONFECKIN MACRA
Well done to our Capers team who took part in the National Capers Final in WIT Arena in Waterford recently. Our show was titled “T’Feckin Greatest Show”. Unfortunately, we didn’t win but the team can be proud of a super performance on the night! The cast had great fun rehearsing and practicing since deciding to enter in November and hopefully will be back next year. The next monthly meeting will be held in Keogh’s Pub, Ballymakenny on Wednesday February 13th at 9pm. New members most welcome as always. EAMON RETIRES
Congratulations to Eamon Murphy on his retirement as Caretaker of Scoil Naomh Feichin. Thank you Eamon for all your support and help down through the years from all the parents, past and present.
ST. FECHIN’S LOTTO
The numbers drawn were 1, 7, 11 and 24. There was no winner of the jackpot. The €100 winner was Andy Mc Grane. Winners of €20 were Pauline Flynn, Bobby Brady, Catherine Mc Glew, Lois O’ Hare and Irene Rafferty. The jackpot is now at €3,500 and is sponsored by Madden’s Centra, Termonfeckin.
ST. FECHIN’S LADIES
St. Fechin’s Ladies will hold a Pub Quiz on Friday February 15th at 8.30pm in Keogh’s, Ballymakenny. Table of 4-€40. All are welcome.
SET DANCING
Set Dancing is held on Thursday nights in Sandpit Hall at 8.30pm. Beginners are welcome. This is a great way to keep in shape and learn the art of Set Dancing.
SCHOOL STARS
What talent we have in our Parish Schools. A most entertaining night was held in the TLT, Drogheda last Wednesday as children from a number of Primary Schools displayed their talents in various forms in the hope of making it to the final of the School Stars competition. Last Wednesday was the Quarter Final and Scoil Naomh Feichin was very well represented with three acts from the school going forward to the Semi-Finals having impressed the three judges. Congratulations to Saorse Rae Branigan and Grace Looney who delighted everyone with their singing and to young budding Comedian Janie Reilly who also got through. Also on the night, the audience were able to cast their votes which will enable other acts to qualify for the Semi-Finals. These names will appear next week.

SCHOOL ENROLMENTS.
Enrollments for the 2019/2020 school year are being accepted by both Parish Schools. Application forms are available from Scoil Naomh Feichin and Scoil Mhuire gan Smal. Completed forms should be returned by this Friday February 15th.
ADORATION.
Eucharistic Adoration takes place on Monday evenings from 7-8pm in the Church of the Immaculate Conception. Why not come and spend some quiet time in the presence of the Lord.
