Accused of jewellery theft

A 38-year-old man accused of a €5,000 jewellery theft has had his case adjourned to 3 May next.

Anthony Garvey, Moneymore, is charged with the offence in Fair Street on 29 October, 2016.

Sgt Ray Brady said the DPP consented to summary disposal of the matter in the district court.

Judge Coughlan accepted jurisdiction.
