St Brigid’s and Tones know the Scor

MEATH Scor held both the junior and senior quiz elements of the 2019 competition in the Navan O’Mahony’s clubhouse recently and there was a very good participation in both events - particularly in the senior.

In the junior competition Wolfe Tones were again victorious, following up on last year’s success. There was a tie for second place between Clann na nGael and Trim camogie and it took an extra round of questions to separate the teams, with Clann na nGael emerging on top.

In the senior section 17 teams took part and St Brigid’s GFC won the competition, beating Wolfe Tones - winners over the past number of years - by a single point.

The Scor committee wishes to congratulate the winners and thank all clubs for taking part.

Thanks also to the quiz master Aidan Walsh, Ciaran Flynn who kept and projected the table of scores and all the volunteers who helped in any way to make the night an enjoyable occasion.
