While places are overgrown, Brookville Park is looking great

THERE has been plenty of debate about grass cutting and the lack of it around Drogheda in the past few weeks.

Naturally, the ongoing situation has not helped but a lot of estates and green areas need urgent attention from the council contractors.

Sometimes these contractors have to travel from afar and sometimes, local workers might not get a chance to be considered.

If I were the council, I’d find out who cut the green in Brookville because it looks like a top class football pitch.

It is a vast area, but looks sublime.

There are a couple of other estates that are also well kept.
