WaterWipes making an impact in Australia

-

WELL done to the people in WaterWipes who are now famous in Australia as well as the Donore Road.

The Irish Echo in Australia ran a great piece recently, stating that more than 16,000 chocolate bars, 800 large biscuit packs, 15,000 baby travel wipe packs and 3,000 sensitive facial wipes packs were distributed to midwives around Australia ‘ by an Irish company based in Co Louth.’

‘Andrea Hawes, Brand Manager for WaterWipes Australasian Distributors explains, “As we’ve all been isolating and putting family, life and work plans on hold, the delivery of newborns is something that can’t wait. The midwife community has always been such a great supporter of us, and we wanted to simply say ‘ thank you’ and show our appreciation during this challenging time.”

To further support midwives across the country, WaterWipes have launched a Trans-Tasman midwife campaign which officially kicked off on International Day of the Midwife. Midwives across Australia and New Zealand have the chance to receive a $1,000, $500 or $300 voucher for their hard work by registering on this link until May 31st.

WaterWipes Baby Wipes were created by founder Edward McCloskey when his baby daughter experienced bad nappy rash. Proven to be purer than cotton wool and water, they are suitable for sensitive, newborn and premature baby’s skin and are made with just two ingredients: 99.9% water and a drop of fruit extract and are the only baby wipe approved by Allergy UK and a proud sponsor of the Eczema Association Australasia.

They are the world’s purest baby wipes made in Ireland under clean room conditions with a unique water purifying process - especially important at times like these when hygiene is key. They are available in all major retailers across Australia.’

You can’t beat that for a good community feel.

?? ?? We might be in a lockdown with a lot of places closed, but work continues at the Omniplex ciema in the Boyne centre. It was a busy spot last week and it’s certainly something to look forward to. The new cinema at Scotch Hall is also on the way.
