Sweet taste of success for Newgrange brand

THE amazing success story that is Newgrange Fine Foods shows no signs of slowing down after they secured a contract to supply 140 Aldi Stores.

And the company can rightly say, they are tasting success!

The local producer will now be supplying Aldi stores nationwide with their Newgrange Fresh Soups.

They have three award winning varieties available including Cream of Vegetable, Tomato & Basil, and Chicken & Vegetable.

For Michael Carr, the new contract is a major moment.

‘We got so many inquiries asking for these soups so it’s great to have a home for them now that is easily available throughout the country.

‘Aldi have been very helpful through the whole process and go above and beyond to support Irish businesses.

‘ The support we get from everyone in our hometown Drogheda as well is amazing, you will never know how much we appreciate it”.

The family owned company was founded by Drogheda Locals Ronan Carr and Michael McAllister 20 years ago and

now employ more than 15 staff.

The company now produces a wide range of award winning fresh soups, sauces, porridge, and potato products which are all handmade from locally sourced ingredient­s.

Their soups are available in Aldi stores from last Wednesday 16th September.
