Why is there half a yellow box?

-

I was at the recent open air meeting of the Trinity Gardens residents group, where they made their feelings known on the proposal for a new development on George’s Street and Trinity Gardens.

During the course of the debate, the possibility of access being gained for the development from Trinity Gardens was raised.

It was then stated that the residents had a problem as it stood.

At the end of the street is a yellow box, but it’s just on one side of the street.

So, cars may be able to pull out to turn right down George’s Street, but at times the other lane is jammed with vehicles, so they can go nowhere.

The suggestion was to put the yellow box all the way across the road, so nobody going up or down George’s Street can block it.

I think it’s a great suggestion.
