Pat McGuinness, Trinity Gardens
Mr. Patrick McGuinness of 30 Trinity Gardens, Drogheda, who died in Sir Patrick’s Dun’s Hospital, Dublin, recently, after a brief illness, was an employee of Messrs. McCann and Hills, corn milling firm for more than 40 years. Deceased, who was a well-known Drogheda man, was the father of Mr. Tommy McGuinness who is known to a wide circle of local people through his associations with the Drogheda Franciscan Church.
The funeral to St. Peter’s new cemetery was attended by a representative gathering, Rev. T. P. Conlon officiating, assisted by Rev. Fr. Chrysotom, O.F.M., Rev. Fr. Michael, O.F.M., Rev. Fr. Clement, O.F.M., and Rev. Brother Aiden, O.FM
The chief mourners were: Mrs. Bridget McGuinness (widow); M/S. Thomas and Frank McGuinness (sons); Mrs. Annie Kelly, Misses Bridie, Philomena, Kathleen, and Jennie McGuinness (daughters); Mr. M. Kelly (son-in-law)
