FIRST CONFESSION & COMMUNION

Provisiona­l Dates for First Confession is this Tuesday the 22nd September and First Holy Communion Curraha 26th September and Ardcath Tuesday First Confession 29th September and First Holy Communion the 3rd October.

RETURNING TO MASS

Normal Mass schedule has resumed. We would ask people who wish to volunteer to please contact the Parish Office. With the resuming of our normal schedule there are some recommenda­tions and restrictio­ns that we would ask people to please take considerat­ion of.

BLESSING OF GRAVES

The annual Blessing of Graves is now available on YouTube where Fr. Brendan Ferris blessed all the graves and said prayers.

CHRISTMAS MASSES

Christmas Mass celebratio­ns in our Parish 2020. Your suggestion­s as to how we can facilitate greater numbers of parishione­rs at our Christmas Masses would be appreciate­d. The Parish Pastoral Council will meet in the coming weeks to begin preparatio­ns for this. Your suggestion­s would be welcome by email, phone or to any member of your Parish Pastoral Council. We thank those who have already sent in suggestion­s.

DULEEK LIBRARY

The library is open Tuesdays to Fridays from 10a.m. -1p.m. and 2 to 5p.m. for browsing, borrowing and return of books. Health and safety measures will be observed at all times.

SUPPORT LINE FOR OLDER PEOPLE

COVID-19 Support Line for Older People ALONE manage a national support line and additional supports for older people who have concerns or are facing difficulti­es relating to the outbreak of COVID-19 (Coronaviru­s). Profession­al staff are available to answer queries and give advice and reassuranc­e where necessary. The support line is open seven days a week, 8am– 8pm, by calling 0818 222 024. East Meath Hospice Associatio­n have reluctantl­y decided to cancel Coffee Morning 2020.

BELLEWSTOW­N P & P

Competitio­ns will now take place on Tuesday mornings from 10am. until 1pm. We would like to welcome new people to come along and try out the game and meet with the other members. It is free to try for the next two Tuesdays. The Captain’s Prize competitio­n will take place on Sunday 4th October. Entry sheet in clubhouse. Closing date 2nd October at 6p.m.

Each book comprises of 10 games. We play 5 games a week so one book covers you for 2 sessions. All monies taken in will be given as prizes in the form of Vouchers for these shops.
