CTI IFC FINAL

-

THE second of two derby finals on Saturday afternoon as neighbours Kilkerley and St Bride’s lock horns in the Intermediate decider.

The Knockbridge men took the scenic route to the decider after a substitution gaff forced them to replay their first round clash against St Kevin’s, but they still boast a 100 per cent record and were impressive semi-final winners over Sean O’Mahony’s on Sunday.

Kilkerley have been equally impressive on their side of the draw with the evergreen Shane Lennon directing affairs on both sides of the whitewash.

How St Bride’s cope with Lennon and his full forward colleague Tadhg McEnaney will be crucial to the outcome and if they can quieten the deadly duo they boast more than enough firepower of their own to finally end their final jinx.

It could be a cracking contest, but the pain of last season may just inspire Kilkerley to victory.
