PARISH NOTICE

From Saturday the 13th February and each following Saturday until further notice Fr. Brendan will be in Ardcath Church from 3.00pm to 3.30pm and Clonalvy from 3.30-4pm. This is to facilitate Parishione­rs who wish to book Anniversar­y Masses, Weddings, and Baptisms and to get Mass Cards and Mass Bouquets

MCC COMMUNITY GRANT SCHEME

The 2021 Community Grant Scheme is now open. The scheme is available to Community Groups, Tidy Towns/Village Committees, Residents Associatio­ns and other organisati­ons, to assist with actions and projects being undertaken in their local area in 2021. If any elderly or vulnerable in our parishes require help over the coming weeks please don’t hesitate to contact the parish 01-8350136 and assistance will be organised. If you know of fellow parishione­rs, neighbours living alone please check on them preferably by phone.

COMMUNITY CALL HELPLINE

1800–808 809 (Freephone) 9am–5pm 7 days a week. People over 70 and those who are vulnerable, can seek assistance if they need help accessing food, medicines or essential supplies. Meath communitie­s are #InThisToge­ther. #StaySafe

We can all help by checking our neighbours, especially those living alone who might just need someone to talk to and ask them are they ok.

SUPPORT LINE FOR OLDER PEOPLE

COVID-19 Support Line for Older People ALONE manage a national support line and additional supports for older people who have concerns or are facing difficulti­es relating to the outbreak of COVID-19 (Coronaviru­s). Profession­al staff are available to answer queries and give advice and reassuranc­e where necessary. The support line is open seven days a week, 8am– 8pm, by calling 0818 222 024.
