SAUSAGE ROLLS
Serves 6
250g/8oz/0.5lb pork mince (ground pork)
40g/1oz/¼ cup fresh breadcrumbs ½ tbsp ketchup
½ tbsp mustard
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
½ tsp soy sauce
½ tsp Tabasco
1 egg, beaten, plus extra for brushing 2 sheets of frozen puff pastry, thawed
1 Preheat the oven to 180˚C/160˚C fan/350˚F/gas mark 4 and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
2 Combine all of the ingredients, except for the puff pastry, in a mixing bowl. Slice each puff pastry sheet in half widthwise, so that you have four equal square pieces.
3 Divide the pork mixture into four portions and form a tube down one end of each pastry sheet.
4 Roll up the pastry, leaving the ends open. Crimp the edges with a fork and brush a bit of beaten egg over the tops.
5 Arrange on the baking tray and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
