That was absolutely fantastic running from everyone, and those times just show how dedication to training pays off. It was a fantastic way to round off 2017.

Two hardy bucks headed off to Sheilstown Forest in the Wicklow mountains for the start line of the Wicklow Way 50-mile race which travelled north to Marley Park in Dublin across the Wicklow and Dublin mountains. The 80k distance and over 3,000m of climbing made for a very challenging race.

Congratulations to Paddy Rowe (12.11) and Paul Duggan (12.11) on a fantastic achievement.

One sole runner headed to Carlow for the Carlow Regional Youth Service Jingle Jog, Breda Rowe (32.17). That was great running from Breda for a fantastic cause.

It was another fantastic week’s running from everyone, with cracking races and times to round off 2017.
