Bathed in glorious sunshine and donning beautiful summer golf style, the Rosslare ladies were out in force on Tuesday for Captain Jim Cullimore’s prize to the ladies.

And what a stunning prize...modern, elegant Waterford Crystal champagne flutes including a magnum of bubbly to enjoy. Thank you Captain Jim.

It was all to play for in this strokes competitio­n as there was a great run on the ball, with bunkers coming into play more, the rough proving ever challengin­g, and the greens in excellent condition.

With good fortune and skilful golf, this coveted majors prize was won by an ecstatic Irene Fortune with an excellent score of 67. Bravo Irene.
