Congratulations to Mag Balfe on completing a 24-hour marathon in Belfast last week.

SCHOOL NEWS

Congratulations everyone on the green school committee who have worked tirelessly over the past number of years to ensure the green school status. On Tuesday, May 22, pupils of Ballymurn NS, Orla Barry and Lennon Carty travelled to Kilkenny accompanied by their teachers to collect their sixth green flag. The theme for the sixth green flag is global citizenship, well done to all involved.

Well done to Ballymurn NS on receiving their hurling 365 flag from Paudie Foley and Mark Fanning. Also thanks to Paudie for refereeing the final of the Lunchtime League, a great way to promote hurling with all children.
