Adverts in August 1980 to announce the line-up for the 11th Gorey Arts Festival including a listing for an up-and-coming band who were billed as ‘Ireland’s latest rock sensation’. They were called U2, and admission to see them perform in the Arts Centre would cost £2. Wonder what ever became of them?
