Folk foursome in concert
EXPERIMENTAL folk quartet Clan Sayne will perform in Wexford Arts Centre at 8.30 p.m. this Wednesday, August 9.
Led by local composer Laura Hyland, the group played two very special shows here last year to celebrate the launch of their album ‘ The Round Soul of the World’, and artwork made in response to it by fellow Wexford-based artist David Begley. The forthcoming gig will see the group present a new collection of work, forged during a weeklong jam session on the shores of Bannow earlier this summer. The group’s music is emotive and inspirational and the concert is a must for all local discerning music fans.
