Sliabh Buidhe Rovers A.C. had a very successful night in Ballymurn on Friday at the Wexford Intermediate road race.
Both the men’s and women’s teams took home silver medals, and Lillian Lawless had a brilliant run for an individual silver medal.
Lillian has returned to top form and will be a strong force at county Senior level as the cross-country season picks up.
Lillian teamed with Christine Hill and Emma Morris for the second overall team and they were well supported with strong runs from Claire Gibbons and Mairéad O’Neill.
Trevor Conroy led the men home with a fourth place overall finish, and he teamed with Denis Moynihan (eighth), Jim O’Malley (tenth) and Niall
