Ballyduff

PATRON/FIELD DAY

Ballyduff annual patron will take place at 2 p.m. on Sunday, August 12 (Always held on the second Sunday in August) followed by a field day in the school. This year we are a little short-handed and so if anyone is free to help on a stall it would be greatly appreciated and as always contributions of items for bric-à-brac, wheel of fortune, auction, home produce, cake and bottle stalls would be greatly appreciated. Help will also be needed in the school on Friday evening, August 10, to help prepare the bottles for the bottle stall. All help very much appreciated.

DEVELOPMENT GROUP

We continue to meet every Monday evening in the village to tidy the area and to work on new projects. All help and support is appreciated and we’re always delighted to see new faces. Follow Ballyduff Development Group Facebook page for info on what’s happening or if you want to share ideas.

FERNS BOWLING

We are badly in need of players. It’s a great thing for old people to get in and play bowling. It is on every Wednesday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and stop to have a cup of tea in Ferns Community Centre.
