MOTORIST FINED €200 FOR BALD TYRE

A BALD tyre cost Laurence O’Connor (51) from 5 Na Coillte, Bunclody a fine of €200 when he attended the District Court in Wexford.

He contested the evidence provided by the garda who inspected his van at Ferndale on the night of December 14 last year.

Judge Gerard Haughton preferred the prosecution evidence and imposed the conviction.
