Drink driving conviction

JOHN LEACY (47) from Ballyconnigar in Blackwater was handed a two year driving ban with a drink drive conviction at Wexford District Court. The offender came to the attention of Garda David Kelleher at Ballyconnigar in Blackwater on April 19 as a result of a faulty brake light.

The judge was informed that Leacy was on social welfare as a result of long term disability.

A fine of €400 was imposed.
