Bench warrant

A BENCH warrant has been issued for a Dublin man after he failed to appear before Judge Haughton in the District Court to answer to a charge of burglary at The Antique Tavern in Enniscorthy.

Alex Dumitru (21) of 41 Maplewood Avenue, Springfield, Tallaght, was charged with a burglary at the landmark pub on February 6 of 2015. When he failed to appear when called, Sgt Victor Isdell immediately requested a bench warrant and Judge Gerard Haughton was happy to comply.
