Belview boostfor workers

AN economic impact study commissioned by the Port of Waterford shows that the Belview Industrial Zone surrounding and including the port now employs around 100 County Wexford full-time.

In 2017, the 265-hectare zone in south Co Kilkenny generated turnover of €388m directly and a further €555m through its multiplier effect in the wider economy. Around 960 people are employed at the port in total and 94 people (16 per cent) live in Wexford.
