Blackstairs Rebel will play in Bowe’s Lounge, Kiltealy this coming Saturday night, November 17, in a fundraiser for Kiltealy Community Development. Donations bucket at the door, also raffle on the night. All money raised will go to Kiltealy Development fund. So come out and support this event, a great night of entertainment guaranteed.
CHRISTMAS CRAFT FAIR
Kicking off the festive spirit, Kiltealy Voluntary Cardiac Response are having their third annual Christmas Fair in Kiltealy Community Hall on Sunday, November 25, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Please come along and see the fantastic work our local crafters have on show and soak up the festive atmosphere. STORY HOUSE
A fantastic night of really good music, songs and stories was enjoyed at the November session of Ballindaggin Story House on Thursday night last.
Deepest sympathy was extended to the families of Artie Sludds and Jim Quigley, who died recently, their sudden passing came as a great shock to all. A minutes silence was observed.
Get well wishes to Joe Bernie and all who are ill at present. Congratulations to Ida Hobson on celebrating her 89th birthday recently. Seán McLaughlin from Galway, who travels around Ireland recording music and singing sessions for Facebook https//m. facebook.com/seanmcboc/.was in attendance recording.

KILTEALY ICA
Eileen Brennan chaired the November meeting of Kiltealy ICA and welcomed everyone. Apologies from Anne Farrell, Maureen McManus, Marie Pepper and Kathleen O’Leary, who were unable to attend. A vote of sympathy was passed to Jane Buckley on the recent death of her sister Betty and brother Thomas.
The new national president of the ICA is Josephine Helly. The next federation meeting will be in Riverbank Hotel, Wexford on November 26 at 8 p.m. The guild will have their Christmas night out in the Courtyard, Ferns on December 12 at 7 p.m.
Patricia Doyle excelled with more card making and each member made two Christmas cards. Marie Coleman and Elizabeth Armstrong thanked her for her excellent demonstration. Competition for the nicest barn brack was won by Jane Buckley, who also won the raffle. A lovely tea was served by Biddy O’Leary. Competition for December is the nicest Christmas earrings.
DOWN SYNDROME WEXFORD
The Wexford branch of Down Syndrome Ireland would like to thank everyone who supported our recent church gate collection in Kiltealy and Ballindaggin. €695.12 was raised which will be used to help provide valuable services to our members in County Wexford. Your support was very much appreciated.
