MOTORIST IS FINED €300 AS CHILD SEEN STANDING UNRESTRAINED IN BACK OF CAR

A CHILD was seen standing in the back of a car being driven at The Duffry in Enniscorthy, the District Court was told.

The result was a conviction for not having the child belted up for Manuel Neagu ( 30) of 26 Court Street, Tem- pleshannon.

He told the judge that he was in work before a fine of €150 was handed down.
