Exhibition set to paint Bunclody in glowing light

THE beauty of Bunclody is to be captured in a brand new exhibition which officially launched in the town’s ArtBank today (Tuesday).

Having played a central role in this year’s Art in the Open festival, artists from all over Europe arrived to capture on canvas the magic of the picturesque town at the foot of Mount Leinster.

Of the 208 artists who took part in the 2018 festival, 24 were from Ireland and it is this diversity of talent which will be showcased at the new ArtBank exhibition, and the exhibition promises to provide a wonderful opportunity to view Bunclody through the eyes of the visitors.

A mixture of oils and watercolours in a multitude of different styles by both professionals and enthusiasts will adorn the walls of the ArtBank between now and December 22 and people are invited to swing by and take a look for themselves. The exhibition will be open from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Saturday and there will be an opportunity to meet the artists at a special viewing at 3 p.m. this Saturday, December 8.
