Port hit a late lev­eller against the lead­ers

Lead­ers Glynn Barn­town had to set­tle for a share of the spoils on Sun­day when they were held to a 1-1 draw by Ross­lare Port.

Fionn Cooney came off the bench to fire the ta­ble-top­pers in front, but Garry Fir­man struck for a de­served equaliser for Port with seven min­utes re­main­ing.

Sec­ond-placed Adamstown failed to cap­i­talise as they lost out 2-1 away to En­nis­cor­thy United. Goals from Niall Thorpe and Wil­lie Dobbs had the hosts two goals to the good at half­time and, although Ian White pulled one back from the penalty spot, Adamstown couldn’t force an equaliser.

Seamie McLough­lin and Adam Sin­nott got the goals for Tagh­mon United as they chalked up an im­pres­sive 2-0 win over Ferns United.

Cur­r­a­cloe United and Cross­abeg came away with a point apiece af­ter a 3-3 draw, with Rob­bie Sta­ples, Conor Hearne and Brian O’Con­nor scor­ing for the seasiders and Cian Bog­gan, Theo Doyle and Kenny Ka­vanagh hit­ting the back of the net for vis­i­tors.

Shel­burne United picked up what was only their sec­ond win of the cam­paign, with Brian Minogue and Paudie Lynch (penalty) get­ting their goals in a 2-0 vic­tory over Kil­lenagh Wan­der­ers.

Sham­rock Rovers closed the gap on run­away lead­ers Gorey Rangers to eight points when edg­ing out Wex­ford Celtic 3-2 at Sin­nottstown Lane on Sun­day.

Peter Collins, Seán Wildes and Jack Car­roll scored for the En­nis­cor­thy side, with Seán Tyrell and Alan Browne hit­ting the back of the net for the hosts.

St. Joseph’s and Bree United shared the spoils af­ter a six-goal thriller, with Des Mythen, Gary O’Leary and Lee Mur­phy scor­ing for Joey’s and Noel Roche (two) and Dy­lan Dal­ton do­ing the need­ful for Bree.

A Paddy Ka­vanagh goal was enough for Bun­clody to win in Rathnure, while Dun­can­non romped to a 5-0 vic­tory over Ra­heen with dou­bles from Michael O’Grady and Damien O’Grady plus a goal from Keith Don­nelly.

Ross­lare Strand fought back from 3-1 down to earn a share of the spoils against fel­low Di­vi­sion 3A ti­tle-hope­fuls Ajax Ath­letic on Sun­day.

Liam Moore, Jack Hanley and Fen­wick O’Shea hit the back of the net for the Ra­jahs, while Adam Buck­ley, Conor Clancy and Danny O’Reilly got on the score­sheet for Strand.

Forth Celtic also had to be con­tent with a point as they were held to a 1-1 draw away to Ross­lare Rangers, with Andy Cum­mins scor­ing for the hosts and Wil­liam Doyle on tar­get for Forth.

Chris Downes, Luke O’Neill, Aaron Dono­van and Shane Ber­gin grabbed a goal apiece as Wex­ford Bohs saw off Oyle­gate United 4-2.

A dou­ble from John Codd earned All Blacks a 2-1 away win over Bal­ly­murn Celtic, with Paul Lar­rissy scor­ing for the hosts.

Else­where, Fethard got them­selves off the bot­tom of the ta­ble as they leapfrogged Bridge Rovers af­ter beat­ing the Castle­bridge side 3-2.

Trevor Fo­ley scored from the half­way line for Fethard, with Jean-Luc Tubritt adding a dou­ble and Evan Dev­ereux (penalty) and Jody Hynes re­ply­ing for Rovers.

Ros­ber­con United are three points clear at the top of Di­vi­sion 4 af­ter edg­ing out Camolin Celtic 3-2 on Sun­day.

Jamie St. Ledger scored a dou­ble for the lead­ers, with Philip O’Con­nor adding their other goal and Peter McSwiney and Ash­ley Tully re­ply­ing for Camolin.

Dar­ragh Kenny and Jack Free­grove got the goals for Cour­town Hibs in their 2-0 win over Cross­abeg, while a Gary Bres­lin dou­ble saw Ferns United beat Kil­tealy Celtic by the same score­line.

Danny Byrne and Aaron Mythen hit the back of the net for Campile United as they earned a 2-1 win in Cur­r­a­cloe, with Gary Bres­lin scor­ing for the hosts.

En­nis­cor­thy United fought back from fall­ing be­hind to earn an im­pres­sive 3-1 win against St. Joseph’s on Sun­day.

Dil­lon Kearns fired Joey’s in front, but United didn’t let their heads drop and replied through Dar­ren Walsh, an own goal and Billy Mil­lar.

Tom­brack United had too much fire­power for Ross­lare Port, with Wil­liam Dunne, Eoghan Mur­phy and Harry Fitzgib­bon (two) get­ting their goals in a 4-0 win.

Tagh­mon United edged out Cas­tle­dock­rell 3-2 with goals from Jamie Cahill (two) and Ger Power.

Kil­lenagh Wan­der­ers raced into a 3-0 ad­van­tage over St. Leonards with goals from Jor­dan Goff, Eoin Whe­lan and Stephen Do­ran, and although a Matty Flynn dou­ble brought the saints right back into the con­test, Wan­der­ers held on for vic­tory.

St. Cor­mac’s con­tinue to lead the way in Di­vi­sion 5 af­ter over­com­ing Ajax Ath­letic 4-0 on Sun­day. Ryan O’Brien net­ted a dou­ble for the saints and Nathan Dick­son and Rob­bie Don­nelly chipped in with a goal apiece.

A John Kane goal wwas enough for Bun­clody to edge out New Ross Town, while Wex­ford Bohs won 3-0 in Ferns with goals from Johnny Con­way (two) and Jesse Kells.

Ryan Lynch, John Browne and Mikey Han­ra­han hit the back of the net for Wex­ford Celtic, but they were pipped 4-3 by Sham­rock Rovers.
