Five counts of criminal damage

AN Enniscorthy man charged with criminal damage and assault causing harm has had his case sent forward to the Circuit Court for trial.

Richard Lynch (46) of 7 Millpark Road was charged with five counts of criminal damage on April 18 last, four of them at 1 The Folly and one at Millpark Road.

He was also charged with assault causing harm to Paddy Mangan and using the handle of a pick-axe to smash windows in his van.

Judge Gerard Haughton made the order to send the case forward to the next sitting of the Circuit Court in Wexford and informed Lynch that if an alibi formed any part of his defence, he had 14 days to furnish details to the Director of Public Prosecutions.
