WEXFORD’S WINTERLAND experience continues on the quay front with range tmas lovers of activities to entertain Christmas lovers of all age groups.

Located on Wexford Quay Santa's North Pole Experience is already captivatin­g vating young and old.

Take a trip through the Magic forest meet the workers in the Elves village visit Dozy Elf ’s bedroom, and meet the Grand High Elf and help him make some toys.

Finally, Patch the Elf will bring fami-

lies, individual­ly, to meet and receive a gift from Santa.

Festival organiser Brian Byrne of Lantern Events said: ‘We were delighted with the reaction to Santa’s North Pole last year and are thrilled to welcome Santa back to Wexford Quay again. There are limited tickets left for weekend slots and good availabili­ty for midweek.’.

Other favourite events include the Christmas Express where little ones will be enchanted by Christmas tales from Mrs Claus. Hop aboard the Christmas Express at the Bullring to enjoy a truly festive experience seeing the sights of Wexford.

Finally, it’s time to get your skates on. The Wexford People Wexford on Ice rink is in full swing and will run till January 6. Winter wouldn’t be complete without a visit to the rink.

This year, there is a host of new features to enjoy, including group offers, birthday party invites, and a few surprises for skaters and non-skaters alike, to enjoy.

The festival was launched with a spectacula­r Winterland Parade, which culminated in the switching on of the Christmas lights in the town.
