Outlook

-

Rain and drizzle will linger across parts of east Leinster with a few bright intervals breaking through the cloud. However, another band of rain will make slow progress eastwards overnight with a few heavy bursts. Thursday looks like a rather cold day with outbreaks of rain. Friday is expected to begin mainly dry and cold. In the late afternoon rain is expected to extend from the Atlantic and extend eastwards overnight, possibly turning wintry over high ground. Current indications suggest it will stay unsettled for the weekend with further spells of rain and showers.
