GAA kids presented with medals for hard work

-

There was never so much silverware as there was in Kilanerin Community Centre last weekend.

The Ballynastragh Gales under age teams were presented with medals to mark their extreme efforts and hard work throughout the GAA season.

Club member Enda Kavanagh said they wanted to host an afternoon for the teams to celebrate their year. ‘Some were presented with county medals and the rest with club medals,’ he added.

The under age team range from five to 16 years and are made up of kids who hail from Kilanerin, Ballyfad and Tara Rock.

Enda said it is great to see so many young kids participate in sport.

The large crowd present from Kilanerin, Ballyfad and Tara Rocks could see for themselves, that with good coaching and organizing, success, as well as enjoyment, can create memories and friends for life.
