Our Junior hurlers had another great win against Graigue Ballycallan in the semi-final of the all-Ireland series in Limerick. They have now qualified for the Leinster semi-final of the competition and will play Ballinderren from Galway on Saturday, January 12, at 2 p.m. Well done to all concerned.

BINGO FUNDRAISER

A very big thank you To Jon Mernagh and the staff of Mernaghs Lounge for allowing Glenbrien Parish to raise funds from the bingo over the last few weeks it was very much appreciated by the Parish Committee, to all those who supported it every week, to those who sold the books on the night and those who helped in any way a huge Thank You.

SENIOR PARISHIONERS PARTY.

The Party will take place in the old school centre on Sunday, December 16, at 2.00. All seniors in the community are welcome to attend. If you have not received an invitation pleas contact any of the committee or call 086 3131711 and we will arrange to get an invite to you. If you need to be collected and dropped home from the party please call and we can arrange transport for you.

CHILDREN’S CONCERT.

The annual Children’s Concert will take place in the old School Centre on Friday, December 14, at 7.30 All are welcome to come along. Any child who would like to take part in the concert please call Charlene at 087 9668411. And we can arrange it.
