Bench warrant for man’s arrest

THERE was no appearance at the District Court last week for a man accused of stealing cans of Red Bull to the value of €10 from Freeman’s Gala in Oylegate. Luke Connors (37) of The Arches, Esmonde Road, was charged with theft arising from the incident on March 21.

When there was no appearance from him, gardaí requested a bench warrant and Judge Haughton was happy to oblige.
