Enniscorthy man admits drugs offence

MACIEJ KRZATALA (36) from 91 Shingán in Enniscorthy admitted a cannabis possession charge when he appeared at Gorey District Court.

The case dated back to May 31 last when gardaí called to the defendant’s home with a search warrant.

They discovered €35 worth of cannabis which Krzatala had for his own use.

He said that he was on weekly social welfare payments of €198 since suffering an injury at work.

He was allowed the benefit of the Probation Act once Judge Gerard Haughton was satisfied that he had no previous convictions.
