The bingo jackpot on Tuesday, January 8, is €6,000 with the reserve jackpot at €800. We wish everyone a happy and prosperous New Year.

ST ANNE’S GAA

MOTIV8 – There is a Launch Night on Friday, January 11, between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. in the John Kelly Memorial Hall. Online registrati­on is now open: rathnurega­a.ie/registrati­on.

The leaders for 2019 are: a) Aidan Redmond and Fr Brian Broaders, b) Colm Byrne and Mary Foley, c) Emma O’Connor and Laura Brennan and d) Lisa Martin and Róisín Higgins.

The first event is a 6K Fun Run at 11 a.m. on Sunday, January 13, starting at the GAA Grounds. Check out the GAA website and Facebook for further details.

NEW YEAR’S DAY HURLING – Well done to the Top Road Terrors, who defeated the Bottom Road Belters on a score of 2-18 to 4-09.

CLUB LOTTO – The numbers drawn last Tuesday were 7, 8, 13 and 31. There was no jackpot winner and no match-three winners so there were five lucky-dip winners of €40 each. Jackpot this week: €8,400.
