Breda wins some new wheels in Community Games raffle

-

A Castlebridge woman who volunteered to help her daughter-in-law to sell some tickets for the Aldi Community Games raffle got a lovely surprise a few months later as she drove away in a brand new Kia Stonic.

Breda Ryan had volunteered to help sell some tickets for her daughter-in-law Melanie and, seeing prizes on offer such as weekends away and the top prize of a car, she opted to buy one herself. A few months later and she was amazed to find that, of 350,000 tickets sold nationwide, her one was pulled out for the top prize of the car.

Last week Breda arrived at Wexford Car Centre’s Kia garage to pick up her brand new wheels!

‘I’m over the moon with it,’ she said. ‘I already had a Kia anyway. I had a Sportage, but I’ve switched over my insurance and the Stonic is lovely for zipping around town. It’s the first time I can ever say that I’ve got a brand new car for a tenner!’

Meanwhile, Wexford Car Centre’s Niall Murphy said: ‘I’m delighted for her. Breda has been a long-time customer of Wexford Car Centre and it couldn’t have happened to a nicer woman.’
