Retirement groupevents

Membership renewals are now due for Enniscorthy Active Retirement Association and new members are always welcome to join.

The group has a number of activities and events planned for the coming year including an eagerly anticipated pro- posed trip to Salou in Spain, which is scheduled to take place in September.

Names are now being taken and a booking deposit of €150 is required from those interested in going on the trip.

The association is one of the busiest in the county and among the regular, ongoing initiatives member enjoy are: Monday – Line dancing at 11 a.m. at Astro Active Centre; Indoor bowls at 1 p.m. at Astro Active Centre and, weather permitting, pitch and putt at 10 a.m. – and also at the same time on Friday; Tuesday is the monthly bus or walk or lunch; Wednesday – walk at 11 a.m. from Riverside Hotel; a table quiz takes place at 2.30 p.m. every second Wednesday at Loreto Village; Thursday – Ramblers’ walk at 9.30 a.m. from Lidl car park and craft sessions at 2 p.m. at the Astro Active Centre.
