THE HUMBLE beginnings of Whitford House Hotel & Leisure Club is a truly amazing story – fifty five years ago our parents opened a small bed and breakfast to help supplement their income. The founders Jim and Kay Whitty both came from a Business and Farming background and understood from the beginning the importance of hard work and prioritising the guest’s needs, this ethos continues to this day with the next generation Shane, Eilish and Gerard.

We have been extremely lucky to work with an incredible group of people who are customer focused and passionate about Hospitality and customer care, we are forever indebted to their commitment and hard work and we hope to continue work with them for many more years to come.

We are very grateful to the people of Wexford for the enormous support they have shown our Family since 1964. Over the years we have seen many changes and passing trends but fundamentally very little has changed, people still appreciate good service, hard work and the feeling that we genuinely care about their experience and we hold these values true today as in the beginning, it is what motivates us daily, the knowledge that our job has been done well, nothing beats it and we thank you for that opportunity and for the memories shared.
