Weddings at Wells are on the rise

-

WELLS House and Gardens situated in Ireland’s Ancient East opened its doors last week to engaged couples interested in hosting their wedding at the historic venue.

Niamh Carolan of Wells House reported that the wedding open event went very well, with a good few couples interested in getting married late 2019 to early 2020.

At the wedding showcase, Niamh said they launched their wedding party accommodation spaces that are available within a private courtyard at Wells House.

‘ This is a way of expansion for us. Letting people prolong their time and make memories with us,’ said Niamh. ‘We were looking to expand further into the wedding market.’

She added that people fall in love with the house and once that happens, the rest is just good organisation from the talented wedding team.

‘We are already fully booked for some months this year which we are delighted about because we only started with weddings in October 2017,’ said Niamh. ‘ This sector is definitely growing for us and thankfully at a rapid speed.’

‘So far, anyone who has attended a Wells wedding has mentioned how exceptional the food is and so we cannot credit out kitchen team enough for that,’ said Niamh.

Wells House are still very committed to their family market. Niamh said the customers and families that visit year on year are what have made this expansion into the corporate events sector possible.

There will be a wedding event every month for the foreseeable future. The next one will take place on February 20, from 5.30 p.m. Wells House and Robertson Hall will be available for viewing until 8 p.m.
