First aid workshop for parents

ENNISCORTHY library will play host to a talk on Thursday, February 21, at 7 p.m. especially aimed at parents and first aid.

The talk will be presented by Julie Mellor, from Parent First Aid, and it will focus attention on what to do in the event that an infant or child is in need or urgent medical attention.

A spokesperson for the library that the event will be aimed at those who want to learn what to do in the event of an infant or child medical emergency.

Parent First Aid is Ireland’s foremost organisation for first aid training of parents and carers of children.

‘Their qualified and highly experienced instructors will deliver a practical paediatric first aid training session in a relaxed and engaging learning environment,’ said the library spokesperson.
