Top boxer accused of assault

WELL KNOWN international boxer Dean Walsh (24) from 20 Wolfe Tone Villas in Wexford made a brief appearance at the District Court on an assault charge.

He stood accused of assault causing harm to John Redmond at North Main Street on November 5 in 2017.

The book of prosecution evidence was formally served on the defendant who was then sent forward to have his case dealt with at Wexford Circuit Court.
