WEXFORD shoppers now have even greater flexibility when it comes to paying for their groceries as Pettitt Supervalu stores are not accepting One4all gift cards.

Customers in Enniscorthy, Gorey and Wexford town now have the option of paying for their weekly shop with a ONe4all gift card at their local Pettitt’s Supervalu store.

Commenting on the partnership, Cormac Pettitt, Managing Director at Pettitt’s, said: ‘As a family-run retailer servicing the south-east for over 200 years, we are proud that Pettitt’s can offer the local community all the household, grocery and newsagents it needs under one roof.

‘We strive to deliver convenience and choice to our customers and so having the option to pay for goods in-store with a One4all Gift Card is a wonderful addition to our service.’

David Walsh, Group Retail Director at One4all Ireland, added: ‘ The addition of the Pettitt’s SuperValu Group means that consumers in Wexford and Kildare now have more ways than ever to finance their household shopping.

‘We are proud to say that with the addition of the Pettitt’s Group, we now have over 155 SuperValu stores across Ireland signed up to our scheme, at least one in each county.’

The Pettitt Group have six stores, and employ over 500 people in St. Aidan’s, Keywest, Enniscorthy, Gorey, Arklow and Athy combined. In January 2006, Pettitt’s joined SuperValu, the franchise group operated by Musgraves.
