Scoil Mhuire NS Ballyhogue are delighted to invite you to our Open Night on Thursday, February 28, from 6 p.m. to 7.30 p.m. for 2019 enrollment. All members of the community are welcome and all attendees on the night will automatically be entered into a draw to win a €50 One four All voucher. We look forward to seeing you.

We would like to thank everyone who signed up to our lotto draw on an annual basis. Books of tickets are still available to purchase in Spar Bree and Keeleys shop for anyone who wishes to still enter the draw. Remember our first draw is Wednesday, March 6, at 8.30 p.m. in Byrnes Bree. We would also like to thank everyone who supported and helped us in any way with the Slaney Valley Adventure Race last weekend. It was a great success and we are looking forward to next year already.

ST PATRICK’S WEEKEND RUN/WALK

Galbally Sports and Leisure Club will host a 10k run and 5k walk on bank holiday Monday, March 18. The event will begin at 11 a.m., with registration taking place from 10 a.m. onwards. Entry fee is €5 for the 5k walk and €10 for the 10k run. Both events are open to all ages and abilities. The 10k race will be chip timed and there will be prizes for the first man and woman home. Refreshments will be served to all participants in the hall afterwards. Everyone is invited to come along and get involved in what promises to be a great community event.

GALBALLY TRACTOR RUN

The annual Galbally Tractor Run will take place on Sunday, May 26.
