AFTERNOON TEA
Saturday, January 25, an Afternoon Tea event takes place in St Brigid’s Hall, Clonegal from 12.30 p.m. to 3.30 p.m., in Aid of the Carlow/Kilkenny Homecare Team. The team have provided a true-life line of support for many families in our community and we would like to give something back.

The Ben Mulhall Savings Club takes place every Friday, in Johnny Dunne’s bar, Clonegal, from 6.45 p.m. to 7.45 p.m. New members welcome.

St Brigid’s NS Clonegal are now accepting enrolments for September 2020. Forms are available on school website clonegalns.com or from the school office. Please return forms to school before the end of February.
WOMEN’S PREPARATION FOR WORK
There are a number of places still available on the Carlow Catalyst Programme for Women’s Preparation for Work Course, which is starting on Tuesday, February 25, in Forward Steps Resource Centre in Tullow.
Courses are open to Women, who are not working and who are not in receipt of job seekers or a work related payment (other social welfare payments allowed so please enquire to see if you are eligible). This is a part time morning course, three mornings a week from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for 16 weeks. Training is QQI accredited and focused on personal development and work related skills. If you are considering returning to work, or thinking about up skilling and feel that you could benefit with some support, guidance and confidence building, then this course could be perfect for you. If you are eligible to take part in this programme, all training and supports are offered free of Charge. Adult Digital Learning Course with TEK central is a six-week course, two hours per week. Join us for a lively morning of fun and chat Friday mornings at 11 a.m. Bunclody Knitting Club takes place Wednesday mornings at 10.30 a.m., places limited, booking essential.
