Businesses going above and beyond to get products

-

AS WE enter week seven of the coronavirus restrictions businesses continue to offer essential services to us all and are going above and beyond to get their products to you in a safe and easy manner.

The past few weeks have seen a dramatic shift in the way many of us go about our lives and this includes shopping. The daily shop, eating out and picking up items off the cuff has been replaced with army like precision when it comes to stirring outside.

Thankfully, across Co Wexford numerous businesses are making your life easier. With the warmer (albeit topsy turvy) weather, butchers like Alan Redmond have been preparing succulent cuts of meat ideal for the barbecue, along with a fantastic range of other meat products as we all embrace our inner Nigella Lawson and Gordon Ramsey, (well at least try to), during these long days.

With many people out of work DIY jobs are being done with unprecedented enthusiasm.

At Liam Brennan Hardware you can find all you need for those jobs that are niggling away at you. Feel free to call ahead and order in what you need and the team at Liam Brennan Hardware will have it ready for you.

As the weather remains cool in the mornings and evenings you should never be without fuel and Kenny Fuels are your one-stop-shop for all your home heating needs. They are always at the other end of the phone and can have everything you need there waiting for you as soon as you pull up for collection.

There are some jobs that are too much even for expert Home Improvement people and this includes tree cutting. Step up Kenneth Davis Tree Services which provides clients with professional and efficient tree surgery and tree removal services. Their team fell trees and remove all organic waste.

With shops in Coolgreany, Gorey, Carnew and Avoca Gardiner Grain stock a full range of agriculture, animal health and equine supplies.

They employ an excellent, fast system and will have everything you need, so don’t hesitate to give them a call.

So just because our movements are limited at the moment it doesn’t mean we have to do without the above essential items. Life goes on, as do deliveries of food and take-away grub, so why not shop local and support local as we need all our businesses to remain open once restrictions are lifted, hopefully in the not-too-distant future.
