Trócaire boxes

FERNS Diocesan Press Officer and Wexford Trócaire representative Fr. John Carroll estimates that there are up to €5 million currently lying in Trócaire collection boxes in Ireland.

A campaign has been launched to return the boxes from this year’s Lenten Appeal by the weekend of Pentecost Sunday, May 31.

Fr. Carroll send the money is urgently needed by Trócaire to respond to people who are facing the catastrophic effects of Covid-19, in addition to hunger, conflict and poverty.
