Driver not wearing seatbelt

Failure belt up while driving cost Thomas Lawlor (25), Ballyelland, Davidstown, a fine of €120 when his case was finalised at Wexford District Court.

The judge heard how the offence was detected at Carricklawn near Wexford on October 13 last. A fine issued in the post was not paid, so the matter was referred to the court where the €120 fine was imposed along with a conviction.
